Our mission is to strengthen the understanding of the value of nature, how our well-being and wealth depend on it and how this knowledge can help people make better decisions that ultimately will protect and enhance nature.

Our vision is a world where nature is valued, inspiring better behavior and decisions that ultimately protect and enhance our natural world.
Our Journey towards the foundation
We lived apart for many years, on different continents and in different time zones. When we reunited, we often came together enjoying nature. The forests and lakes in Dalarna, Sweden. The urban nature in New York. The mountains in Switzerland and Norway. The mangroves, beaches, wildlife and tropical forests in Myanmar, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and Singapore. Nature always helped us to reconnect.

Nature provides the basics and extraordinaries of life and is the very foundation on which we all depend on. Nature has a strong meaning for our relationship and in celebration of our wedding in 2018, we used the occasion to value nature and started the Value Nature Foundation. We wanted to contribute to enhancing and protecting our natural world by increasing the understanding of the value of nature - how we all depend on it.
